Verified CDL Schools is an independent directory, written and maintained by Casey Morgan. It is not affiliated with FMCSA or U.S. DOT.

Where the data comes from

Every night we read three public lists from FMCSA's Training Provider Registry: the public provider search (active locations), the "In Review" list and the "Removed" list. The latest pull (October 21, 2026) returned 31,132 active locations, 749 locations under review and 9,967 removal records. We keep a daily snapshot so changes in status can be tracked over time.

What each status means here

• Active: the location appears in the registry's public search with no review notice.
• Under review: the registry shows a notice of proposed removal (49 CFR 380.723) for the location.
• Removed: the location appears on the registry's removed list and not in the public search. The date and type of removal are as FMCSA reports them.

What we don't publish

We publish only business information: the provider or location name, city and state, the street address when the provider shows it publicly, training types, status and status dates, and the business website. We never publish personal emails or the names of registrant contacts. We don't publish phone numbers either, except toll-free business lines the provider has chosen to display. When a listing's business name looks like a private individual's name, we withhold it. For removed and under-review locations we show only city and state, matching FMCSA's public lists.

Corrections

The registry is the source of truth. If a status looks wrong, check the official registry. Changes there show up here after the next nightly update.
